Mitre’s Edge Malbec 2021
Smooth yet bold, the Mitre’s Edge Malbec 2021 showcases the depth and character of this distinctive red cultivar, grown on the Simonsberg-Paarl estate.
Bursting with ripe blackberries and plums, with hints of vanilla oak, this expressive Malbec has a distinctive menthol freshness that lifts the palate. Notes of white pepper, earth and gentle spice add complexity, while silky tannins and a lingering finish complete the experience.
Matured for 12–14 months in 225-litre barrels and Flex Cube, this is a rich, characterful red wine that brings together ripe fruit, savoury spice and a refreshing herbal edge.

Customer Reviews
“Complex wine with a long lingering aftertaste. Prominent tannins, so can still age. The nose hits you like a mint. Anise and almost like a herbal tea on the nose. Very different but good.”
“Loved this big and bold Malbec. Enjoyed it with a nice ostrich steak and a red wine sauce.”
